RC73 - Sony HT-CT150 soundbar set up

I have followed the prompts on the screen in order to set up my RC73 remote with my Sony HT-CT150 sound bar.  After making the selection and the "adding sony audio - attempting code 1 of 1" starts, I continue to receive this message: "There was an issue with programming your Sony Audio with your remote.  You can try again or set it up later."  Any tip/tricks to not have this issue?
