When I had the Genie/Mini Genie installed, the tech had programmed the remote to control the volume on my Vizio soundbar while in the DIRECTV setting on the remote (i.e., I did not have to change the remote to the AV1 or AV2 setting). When I installed my blue-ray player, the only thing the DIRECTV remote will do with regards to my soundbar, is turn it on/off but only if I change it to the AV1 setting. Once its on (the soundbar) I have to control the volume with the Vizio remote. I've read somewhere where I need to lock the tv volume so that the remote will only recognize the soundbar...regardless of what setting the DIRECTV is in. But not sure how to lock out the control for the tv volume. I have contacted DIRECTV to ask if the tech that had set me up could come out again, or walk me thru it over the phone (I have the premier protection plan) but one can tell me who it was that had come out. All they have are tech assigned numbers and have no way to ID they for contact purposes. I was given to the tech department but no one there could help me. Its not like my DIRECTV remote had never been done this way, so I know it can be done with whatever codes they provide thru set up, I just don't remember what the sequence was and it seems no else at DIRECTV knows can even set it up with me having to change the remote to AV1...help
