We were just upgraded and given RC73 remotes. Prior to the upgrade, we were using RC65X remotes with no problem. Now I cannot program my Proscan PLCD5092A-D tv. I have tried all the recommended codes. Any ideas?

Trouble shooting remote programming
I need major help programming my Directv remote to my LG TV so the volume will work. I have been thru the process MANY times. I get to the screen where it says 'code accepted' and asks me to test the volume. At that point the volume does work and will go up and down. So I select 'it worked' on the menu. However once I exit the menu and hit the volume button a prompt pops up that says 'remote not programmed' and asks me if I would like to program the remote. I have tried entering the LG model number (47DL450) and tried saying 'I don't know the model number.' I have tried programming it to AV1, AV2, and TV. I had reset the remote many times and tried again.
I should mention that we just had a directv remote that did work our TV volume but it broke last week. We got a new remote yesterday and cannot program it to the TV.
Please help. Any advise is welcome.

RC73 - Sony HT-CT150 soundbar set up
I have followed the prompts on the screen in order to set up my RC73 remote with my Sony HT-CT150 sound bar. After making the selection and the "adding sony audio - attempting code 1 of 1" starts, I continue to receive this message: "There was an issue with programming your Sony Audio with your remote. You can try again or set it up later." Any tip/tricks to not have this issue?

LG TV Programming remote
I need major help programming my Directv remote to work the sound of my LG TV. I know how to program it and have been through the setup many times. Here is the issue: I get thru the setup and get the screen that says 'code accepted' and to check the volume. At that point the Directv remote DOES control the volume and I can move the volume up and down. So I push 'it worked.' However after leaving the menu and trying to change the volume a prompt pops up that says 'remote not programmed' and asks me if I want to program the remote for my TV.
I have tried this over and over. I have tried entering in the TV model (which is LG 47LD450) and I have tried saying I didn't know my model number. Both seem like they work and then they don't once I exit the menu.
I have tried programming the TV to AV1, AV2, and TV. All seem to work and then they don't.
Also I should mention I previously had a Directv remote that did work the sound on my TV. It broke and I am trying to program a new one.

Bought new smart tv, I was able to program old DVR remote but the new one for the Genie will not program. It does everything but volume control. Any help with this?

rc66rbx with vizio soundbar
When I had the Genie/Mini Genie installed, the tech had programmed the remote to control the volume on my Vizio soundbar while in the DIRECTV setting on the remote (i.e., I did not have to change the remote to the AV1 or AV2 setting). When I installed my blue-ray player, the only thing the DIRECTV remote will do with regards to my soundbar, is turn it on/off but only if I change it to the AV1 setting. Once its on (the soundbar) I have to control the volume with the Vizio remote. I've read somewhere where I need to lock the tv volume so that the remote will only recognize the soundbar...regardless of what setting the DIRECTV is in. But not sure how to lock out the control for the tv volume. I have contacted DIRECTV to ask if the tech that had set me up could come out again, or walk me thru it over the phone (I have the premier protection plan) but one can tell me who it was that had come out. All they have are tech assigned numbers and have no way to ID they for contact purposes. I was given to the tech department but no one there could help me. Its not like my DIRECTV remote had never been done this way, so I know it can be done with whatever codes they provide thru set up, I just don't remember what the sequence was and it seems no else at DIRECTV knows can even set it up with me having to change the remote to AV1...help

Will RC66RBX remote control all devices at one time?
I have my TV, Soundbar and the DTV receiver programmed but I want to know if there is a way to turn all of the on/off at same time? Right now just the DTV receiver and TV turn off/on at same time but the soundbar won't unless I slide the tab to AV1 and use master power button.
is there a trick to having it control all devices at once to turn off/on?

why did my remote stop working the DTV receiver?
I have an HR-44 receiver and the remote suddenly stopped working. The remote still operates the TV and Stereo as normal. I have twice reset the receiver to no avail. Now using my phone to control the receiver... Any idea?

I have an new RC73 remote. After a couple weeks of use it reported low batteries. I replaced them and a short time layer I got the same message. I then reseated the batteries and shortly got the same message. I can still use the remote. Any suggestions?

Programming Remote for Blu Ray
I've been able to program my remote to work my TV, everything works, power, volume, input, etc. when I try to program my Sony Blu Ray, the only options I'm given are for audio or tv. I don't have a dvd option and therefore can't program the player. Any suggestions?
